Janina Gavankar has become my overnight heart throb. I don’t watch True Blood, but after seeing her interviewed on Attack of the Show she has solidified herself as a perfect 10. A hardcore video gamer, classical piano aficionado, & drop dead gorgeous? When she spoke about being the type of person that likes to thoroughly complete video games, such as Assassin’s Creed, to hold the disc in her hands and say that she’s seen it all my heart skipped a beat. Nintendo plans to unveil their latest console at the E3 Expo in about a month. Their last console, the Nintendo Wii sold comparably well against it’s HD video decoding brothers midway through last decade. I don’t think adding HD capabilities is what a new console needs, now that Microsoft and Sony have both developed new motion capturing technologies Nintendo is going to have to really stretch the imagination of the game play environment and think of something new to bring to this table full of console features and accessories.

I for one haven’t turned on my Wii in about 3 years, I don’t see anything that Nintendo could tease me with enough to commit to wasting money on an outdated system. Show me the games. The consoles only rumors are similar 3D capabilities as the 3DS handheld, which I’ve tried and really strains your eyes when trying to play on it. The controllers will have integrated touch screens and the video processing power greater then that of the PS3. It’s going to be something that’s unexpected from Nintendo but $400 is a big ticket, the console’s reported name is “Project Cafe”…

I think Nintendo should back burner a console, make something small and affordable that can play Nintendo’s library of classic games. Then focus more on making new titles for other consoles.
