Ultra’s 2012 venue is a serious issue that Ultra needs to handle to sell presale tickets. I think I can say I know the bicentennial park venue better then most going for a wide variety of festivals and shows that are not Ultra.
That venue is no longer available.
The same dates of last year’s UMF there was a complete different epicenter of debauchery. The Masquerade Motel, which was fairly successful as a venue. Also there’s the venue to the failed IDentity Festival, Bayfront Park Amphitheater, it would have been nice to see how the space would have been used to support multiple stages, but this happened. The video says Downtown Miami, if it is going to be at the construction site again I’d rather hope there’s a South Beach alternative. I’ve visited Ultra four times… With the price of water at Ultra I hope they can seal some deal soon and give us a venue. Anywhere but Mike’s in the Venetian.
